StepStone Expands Global Presence with New Office Opening

StepStone (OSE: STP), a leading provider of e-recruitment software and services, today announces the opening of a new office in New York, USA. Centrally located in the Empire State Building, this is StepStone's first office opening in America and represents a significant expansion of the company's global network.

This new office is part of a wider program of customer-centric initiatives to better support StepStone's hundreds of multinational clients that have operations in the USA.

Matthew Parker, Solutions Group Managing Director for StepStone, comments: "Opening this office fulfils two objectives for us. It will help us to better support and build upon our already strong network of American-based customers, which includes Verizon, Cadbury Schweppes, Louis Vuitton (LVMH) and Virgin Atlantic, to name just a few. Our reputation as one of the world's leading e-recruitment vendors also means we are attracting more incoming opportunities from US-headquartered companies as well as requests for American support from our European client base. A local presence in New York will help us to capitalize on these prospects."

He adds, "Sourcing talent across borders is always complex but our pan-European background, combined with our global scale, means that we are ideally placed to provide both existing and future multinational customers with the widest and most innovative range of e-recruitment software and services."

Publicly listed on the Norwegian Stock Exchange, StepStone has two major divisions - Online and Solutions. StepStone's Online business operates 13 successful job boards across Europe that advertise over 400,000 vacancies.

The opening of the New York office will primarily support StepStone's Solutions business, which develops on-demand hosted and managed e-recruitment software including the products, i-GRasp and EasyCruit. These products currently support 470 clients worldwide.

StepStone's i-GRasp enables large organizations, especially multinationals, which have high volume permanent and temporary hiring needs, to achieve a more structured and effective recruitment process. Developed for small and medium-sized companies, EasyCruit is quick to set-up and simple to use. EasyCruit empowers users to easily publish vacancies online and manage applications.

Some of StepStone's multinational customers include: Levi Strauss, Amazon, Statoil, Royal Bank of Scotland, Fiat, AstraZeneca, Ford, Bosch, British Airways and Cable & Wireless.
