StepStone continues to see solid demand in second quarter
StepStone, a leading provider of total talent solutions, today announced continuing demand for its products and services across the company in the first half of Q2 2008.
"StepStone continues to see steady demand across both the Solutions and Online businesses and the company continues to perform in line with plan. StepStone remains well positioned as we move towards the second half of 2008," Colin Tenwick, CEO of StepStone, said.
Key highlights and company milestones so far in Q2 include:
- Continued global growth for The Network, the global online recruitment network co-founded by StepStone, which now caters for 75 million job seekers in 70 countries around the globe
- Sustained demand, particularly in Germany, for Online products
- According to ComScore, traffic to StepStone sites across Europe in April was 38% higher than in April 2007
- 47 new Solutions customers by end of May, including: Control Risks in the UK; Groupama, Poweo, Habitat and Manpower in France; Microsoft Deutschland and Ericsson in Germany; Birra Peroni and Sews Cabind in Italy; Nedre Eiker Kommune in Norway; Canadoil Group in Singapore; and Box Delivery and Göteborg Energi in Sweden
- Increased focus on the Austrian and Eastern European markets through the formation of StepStone Solutions Austria GmbH (a joint venture between StepStone and ITO Individuum) to accelerate sales of StepStone's solutions portfolio in this market and complement the existing Austrian online job board business
- The appointment of Panmure Gordon to act in connection with the secondary listing of the Company's shares on the Official List of the London Stock Exchange
