2. Collection and Use of Data
On our web site we ask you to provide information which will enable us to enhance your visit to
our web site and process information requests which you may have.
If you wish to apply for a vacancy with StepStone Solutions you must register on our web site.
You will have to provide us with your email address on registering so that we can send you your
login details if you forget them. We also store your email address to enable us to confirm receipt
of any vacancies you apply for.
Once you have registered on our web site, you may apply for a vacancy with StepStone Solutions online.
This will involve answering a number of eligibility questions, attaching a copy of your resume and
providing us with personal data. Stored together with your resume, these personal data contain your
user data (name, postcode and email). Your personal data are treated in strict confidence and are not
forwarded to any third party. We need your personal data in order to send you information about any
vacancies with StepStone Solutions that you have applied for. Due to technical reasons we have to
request your personal data when you apply for a StepStone Solutions vacancy on our web site.
In order to ensure authentication, this means in order to avoid unauthorized registrations on behalf
of third parties we will send you a confirmation email after you have registered online and/or applied
for a vacancy with StepStone Solutions.
StepStone Solutions saves your resume in its database purely in relation to StepStone Solutions
vacancies that you have applied for. Please note that your resume will not be stored anonymously.

4. Use of Log Files and Statistics
In our log files, we collect and store Internet Protocol addresses (IP addresses) for a limited period,
as far as is necessary for data safety reasons. We also use Internet Protocol addresses to create anonymous
statistics, in order to measure the number of visitors to our web site (traffic) and we use it for accounting
purposes to calculate the number of clicks received via web sites of our business partners, but we do not
draw up user profiles or link these to personal data.
5. Illegal Content
Please note that you are solely responsible for all texts entered into our system or sent to us. Please
ensure that you do not send us any attachments that contain viruses or worms. Personal details provided
to StepStone Solutions should not contain information

The information you send us must be accurate and must not breach copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual
property rights, contravene law, competition law or other applicable provisions, official regulations, the
rights of third parties in general or public policy ("Illegal Content"). Please note that you undertake to
indemnify us against all costs and damages resulting from claims made against us as a consequence of your
failure to prevent Illegal Content appearing in any information you provide.
6. Processing of your data
Our web site is hosted by third party companies who are processing your data. Should StepStone Solutions
in the future work together with other or additional business partners to deliver its services StepStone
Solutions may then forward your data to these partners if and insofar as this is necessary for the processing
of data, i.e. for the technical administration and maintenance of the StepStone Solutions products. StepStone
Solutions will provide information about this in its then valid Privacy Statement.

StepStone Solutions utilizes various service providers and contractors to support our site. The information

to provide the services which are available on our web site, by us, the StepStone group and our partners.
8. Access to and right to edit and delete your data
You have a right of access to delete or amend your resume from our database yourself. You also have the
right to request us by email to delete your personal data. You have the right to object, free of charge, to
the processing of your personal data for purposes of direct marketing.
If you wish to edit or delete your data or your resume in our database, simply log in at
www.stepstonesolutions.com and use the
corresponding functions. You can delete or amend your resume stored in the database by logging in and
viewing your documents. If you want us to delete your personal data or resume we will be happy to do
so on your behalf. Also, we will inform you immediately by email of your personal password if you have
forgotten it.
StepStone Solutions is entitled to withdraw its services at any time, or to delete your data in whole or in
part without giving further notice. You have no right to claim publication of your data.
Important Notice: We will delete your data free of charge at any time if you ask StepStone Solutions to
delete your data. Data that has not been updated for 1 year will be automatically deleted by us.

We use a variety of methods, such as firewalls, intrusion detection software and manual security procedures,
to help protect the accuracy and security of your personal data and to prevent unauthorized access or
improper use by third parties.
For these reasons we recommend that users change the password sent to them with a new personal password.

own backup copies of all data that you transfer to StepStone Solutions. StepStone Solutions reserves the
right to change, extend, limit or withdraw its services at any time. StepStone Solutions shall not be
liable for any deleted data or loss of data.
