StepStone Solutions
23 February 2010 – StepStone Solutions, a global leader in talent management solutions, has announced that Netherlands-based life sciences and materials sciences company Royal DSM N.V. has selected StepStone Solutions to support and manage DSM’s talent management processes on a global basis. Over the next four months StepStone Solutions’s performance management, career & succession planning and 360 degree feedback modules will be deployed initially to a population of 5,000 employees globally from the Europe, US, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
“DSM has launched a new career management process which supports key aspects of talent management, particularly in performance and career management,” says Jacoline van Blokland - van Gooswilligen, Vice President of Career Development at DSM. “However, this process was originally realised through manual intervention, which is why we embarked on a journey to find a solution provider that could truly help us support our key HR strategic processes with an automated solution.”
After a thorough examination of key talent management and ERP vendors, DSM chose StepStone Solutions to deliver its talent management processes and requirements. “StepStone Solutions will enable DSM to fully coordinate its talent management processes into an automated flow, enabling DSM to work more efficiently and effectively, increasing the value of the HR function and its overall contribution to the business,” states Jacoline van Blokland - van Gooswilligen.
“We were delighted to be successful in such a rigorous and thorough process,” states Matthew Parker, Group MD StepStone Solutions. “The rich combination of experience, trust, flexibility and ability to respond to both the business and IT requirements of DSM put StepStone Solutions well ahead of other vendors involved in the tender process, enabling us to convince all key stakeholders involved that StepStone Solutions could deliver to their specific requirements.”
